Take a budding artist, a charming fairy, and a wet painting and you have the makings of an enchanting tale. The Fairy Painting tells the story of Elise, a young girl working on a painting in her backyard. When a tiny fairy gets stuck in the wet paint, the two embark on a journey that ultimately shows Elise the importance of trust, responsibility and self-confidence.
“Elise and the fairy meet through a mishap, but they become friends who genuinely care about each other,” says author Stacey DuFord. “And caring for a fairy opens up a whole new world for Elise,” she adds. Beautifully done, whimsical illustrations will inspire and entertain any curious child.
