The One, The Only Magnificent Me written
by triple Grammy winner Dan Haseltine, won an American Booksellers
Association BookSense 2007 Winter's Pick from over 2,000
independent bookstores around the country, and is a national
bestseller.
Called 'part Dr. Seuss and part Shel Silverstein',
it is a brilliant and important book about self-esteem.
In it, a boy's dreams take flight, transforming him from
an ordinary kid into something truly remarkable, and in
the process, he learns that simply being himself is what
really makes him magnificent.
Dan Haseltine
The One, The Only Magnificent Me! is the debut children’s book by Dan Haseltine, the lead singer and primary lyricist for the fantastically popular band Jars of Clay. Jars of Clay is a multi-platinum and multi-GRAMMY winning band with 17 No.1 radio hits, numerous awards and nominations, 11 movie soundtracks to their credit, and legions of fans around the globe.
But most importantly, Dan and the band are making a difference in the world, as they founded the Blood:Water Mission in early 2002. The first effort of this non-profit was the “1000 Wells Project” which, to date, has brought clean water and sanitation to more than 250,000 people in urban and rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa.
